Nedd help! Any suggestions for our location?

Hi everyone! This is very new to me but I am recently engaged and we are planning on a destination wedding in May 2010. Ideally I would love to do Disney but it's really expensive so I am hoping some of you will have some advise for me!

 

We would like to do a 3-4 day trip instead of a week on a beach and then we will fly to our honeymoon (thinking Negril).

 

Does anyone have any suggestions that might match what we are looking for? We don't want a formal reception...just ceremony and a nice dinner for about 20 of our family and friends.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Something informal in Jamaica will be very easy to plan--the options are plenty of options and a Jamaica wedding can be more affordable than you think. Negril is IMHO the most beautiful part of Jamaica. Good Luck with all your planning.

Yeah, Disney weddings are beautiful, but I understand that budget concerns.

If you'd like to honeymoon in Negril, what about getting married somewhere similar but just a little different. Perhaps Montego Bay or Ocho Rios? Then you're not spending so much time traveling and you can spend more time enjoying each other!
