Posting my official hello! My partner and I will be getting hitched in Key West on May 19, 2011. Just starting my planning now even though it's REALLY far away! We needed to give our families plenty of notice, so they could hopefully attend.

 

We live in Anchorage, Alaska and our families all live 'outside' so seeing that they would need to travel here anyway, we figured we should all travel somewhere fun and we took our first 'real' vacation together to Key West, so it seemed like the perfect place!

 

Any other gay or lesbian brides/grooms out there trying to plan a destination wedding? Having trouble gauging "friendliness" from afar... any tips?
