The 28th is definitely NOT set in stone!!! Really anytime that week is fine (I'm on March Break!). So we could meet up Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Why don't we do midweek, Wednesday March 30th? Thoughts?

Sorry I've been MIA, took a break from the wedding planning to buy a house!!!! :D We're so excited, we move June 3 (we get back from our honeymoon May 14)!!

Now that we're done with the house, it's starting to sink in how close the wedding is. FI is on his bachelor party weekend right now! His friends took him to Kamloops for 4 days to hang out in a chalet and learn to snowboard. I'm actually enjoying having the time to myself so far, but it just feels so weird to not have him here :( And of course a small part of me is worried about what kinds of things might be going on...sigh...

Tomorrow I'm going for my boudoir shoot...I'm very excited, but also very nervous. I'm using Anna at Cineart in South Calgary, I'll be sure to let you know how it goes!

I would LOVE to meet up with you all on the 28th but I have a Monday night class at Mount Royal till mid-April :( I'm so sad to be missing out! I completely understand if you can't change it, but I thought I'd throw it out there that I can make it any other night that week! ;)

OMG I did my BD pics today, when I arrived the first thing she did was offer me champagne. I think that really helped to relax me, and I actually enjoyed the shoot! I used Belle Femme Boudoir photography, and Tricia was really great. I can't believe I actually convinced myself to do this, but I'm so glad I did.

We bought in Mount Pleasant! Great neighborhood, we are across from a park and it's super quiet but very central! :D Wow that's so great about the champagne! I had my boudoir shoot with Anna at Cineart today, it was a bit awkward, wish I'd had champagne to start! She did show me a few of the pics though and they were amaaaazing!!! Can't wait to see them all! The 30th would work for me! :)

Thanks so much ladies! I've been given a template for the Boarding Passes and Passports - I'll give that a shot first I think as I"m sure it would be cheaper - but it may not be worth the hassle

in the end...lol
Do you know if those Boarding passes on Etsy are like 'real' ones?  with the perforations?

Super-easy. I've ordered probably 75% of everything for the wedding (from robes as gifts for BMs to cake topper) from various Etsy vendors. Everything has turned out better than I'd hoped.

I did the same thing but was wondering if it was possible to have them printed at Staples!  Do they have good paper selection and which Staples did you go to?  For 20 bucks, I would LOVE to have them printed instead of having to do that myself!

I looked for Boarding Pass invites too online and I couldn't decide on any. I even went to a couple invitation stores in Calgary and they wanted like $500 + to make them....crazy. So I decide to attempt to make them on my own with a free template from Ayleebits. www.ayleebits.com/templates. It was pretty easy actually once you got going. I made them in Microsoft Word. I had them printed and cut at staples and it cost me about $20.

It is a little more work but I am really happy how they turned out. My fiance made envelopes for them too and they look awesome.

Good luck :)

Hey ladies!

Here's the details for the next meet-up:

When: Wednesday March 30th, 2011

Where: Una Pizza + Wine (618 17th Ave SW, on 17th between 5th and 6th Sts)

Time: 6:00 pm

One of the best wine selections in the city, and amazing appetizers! Lots of street parking nearby.

Can everyone throw me a PM so I have an idea of numbers?

See everyone soon!

Natalie

We had them printed and cut at the staples in Country Hills. They will only use their paper, you can't bring them paper to print on. They have 3 types of white cardstock type paper of different thickness, we chose the medium one and it turned out great. They were mostly cut out, just had to round the corners. It was really cheap like $20 or $30 at the most.
