Melia Caribe Tropical, Punta Cana BRIDES! I need your help!

Is anyone else getting married at the Melia in Punta Cana in the near future...?? OR has anyone BEEN married there...or been there on vacation?

 

I am set to get married on 10-10-10 and i need some brides help! just looking to make friends and share experiences on wedding planning.

I am in the same position, I have my heart set on this hotel but then I look at others and can't make my mind up! I have read good and bad and just cannot decide.

Any reviews from anyone who has got married here would be useful!

I am in the same boat. I am planning to get married next november 2010 and can't decide between Dreams Punta Cana and Melia. I find I am leaning more towards Melia, but then I start to like the Dreams again. They are both roughly close in price but I am not sure about the wedding package prices at dreams compared to melia. So thats what I am trying to research. If anyone else can share how they made their decision, please share!!

I was married at the Melia a few weeks ago. Please believe me when I tell you that you have NOTHING to worry about. The resort is gorgeous! Every venue they provide for your ceremony and reception went beyond our expectations. The WC's there are amazing and did everything to make our wedding day extra special! They even made sure that the rest of our time there went flawlessly. I haven't had time to write a complete review yet (I'm waiting for my professional pictures to come in first!) but will be writing an extensive review.

 

kloc12 - I was in the same dilemma as you...stuck between the Melia and Dreams. I chose the Melia as it was a 20 min drive from the airport compared to an hour to Dreams. If you go with the Melia you won't be disappointed!

Melia Caribe tropical it is one of the best resort in the area for the wedding.

We work in this hotel from ten year and i know for the feed back for our guest that are very happy and gratefully.They have a great work group in the Wedding coordinator like Laura or Angelica.
