Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue

I was just wondering some of the things brides are using for their something borrowed; something blue? Also is it suppose to just be those two or do you also get something old; something new? Do you think blue shoes would be out of the question?

I think blue shoes would be very cute. I am wearing some nifty blue underwear that I personalized to say "Mrs. XXX" and I borrowed a starfish bouquet jewel.

It took me awhile to cover all mine and the "old" is still not for sure yet.

 

Old:hopefully some earrings from my mom or Grandma

New:my garter

Borrowed: borrowing my best friends veil

Blue: my neckalce has a blue stone in it

I am borrowing an old necklace that has been passed down through FI's family which covers old and borrowed. My garter is blue so theres my blue

Well.. For the something borrowed.. I'm borrowing my mother's jewelry, which was given to her by my grandmother. Both sentimental, and saves me money on having to purchase jewelry! hope this helps!

Old = a broach of my grandmother's that I'm attaching to my bouquet

New = my dress!

Borrowed = my mom's diamond earrings

Blue = my shoes!

My Old, Borrowed and Blue is a pendant my grandmother is lending that has diamond and topaz I will put it on my bouquet. I also got a six pence that I am attaching to a anklet Kyle got me when we first started dating.

Ugh! I have been thinking about this and I am totally stumped on borrowed. Mainly because I'd rather own everything I'll wear in my wedding so I can have it forever! LOL!

 

Old: Well, not sure if it counts, but a string of pearls my mom had made for me in high school...oldest thing I got! I might also look for a blue antique bracelet.

New: The dress, shoes, everything else!

Blue: My shoes, possibly undies!

We found these at a flea market when we were in Florida The pictures really don't do them justice, they are very delicate and really really sparkly!!! I love me some sparkle
