My name is Aga and my wedding date is exactly in one year: 23rd of October,2010. I found this amazing invitations at Precious Invitations but is it ok to send the 12 months in advance?

Hi Aga! We have the same date =) Congrats - where are you planning to get married? I'm going to send out save the dates as soon as i get them put together - probably in a month at the most, I think you should give people a ton of advance notice for destination weddings.

The next year will go by really fast.

I don't think that a year in advance is too soon for a DW at all. That gives people lots of time to save and plan. I personally had people freaking out when we didn't have a firm date and invites sent out 10 months before and wish I had been able to send them out as far in advance as you will.

Im thinking you should send save the dates now and then 6-8 weeks before the bug day send your formal invites!!
