Mexico has been getting a lot of bad publicity in Canada recently and since I have a little toddler, that is off my list for this year. I did research every single Island (I think) in the Caribbean and their resorts - a lot of the ones I liked did not allow children, so I finally settled on the ILA which seems amazing.

How about Dominican Republic? It's why I choice it, I and the Fi can deal with the food in cuba, but wasn't sure how many other people could, heard the beach is close to the same as Varadero, but the food is better. We were also in the same boat, wanting to go to Turcks, but knowing none of our guest could afford it. I am happy with my pick.

Good luck and happy planning!!

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry that you are having a tough time deciding what to do. I know you want ALL of your friends at your beautiful beach wedding, but maybe you could go ahead and plan the dream wedding that you want and them simply have a small party when you return home for the friends who could not make it. Maybe wih just a cake and desserts?? Don't give up on what you really want in your heart :) It is fabulous in the Caribbean, trust me and you will remember it for your lifetime.
