Hi - Welcome to the forum! I'm from Minneapolis as well and getting married at the Royal right across the street from the Gran. I've heard good things about it and our guests with children will be staying there.

 

Try doing a search, you should find tons of helpful info on the Gran.

Congrats Kiran and welcome to the forum........lots of great advice here.

Have you checked with Playa del Carmen local photogs "Moments That Matter"? They've worked all the resorts and hotels there (do AMAZING stuff!) and know a lot about the pros + cons of each....well worth a conversation........good luck!
