Civil Ceremony Information

Recommended Posts

Well I have searched and searched and can't seem to the find the information I am looking for- so I thought I would start a new thread for those of us having civil ceremonies in Mexico.

I was wondering if anyone has already had a civil ceremony- and were you able to change anything or add anything to the ceremony. I have heard you can add to the ceremony- but the judge won't read anything extra you have to have other family or friends do the extra parts- is this true? We were hoping to add a reading or sand ceremony at some point during the ceremony. Also does anyone have a comprehensive list of what information/steps are necessary for a civil ceremony. I know you need to arrive a few days in advance, but do your witnesses as well?
