Hi CJ- are you still looking for this dress?  I have one for sale.  I had to have it quite altered as I lost 25lbs for the big day embarrest.gif.  It was originally a size 16, but alterations took in about 2-3 inches on each side!  I am 5'9" and wore flats on my wedding day.  I also added 36 buttons down the back (to about my mid-bum) since i've always dreamed of having buttons down my back (and this dress didn't come with them)- they were ordered from Mikaella along with the dress.  I also have the bolero.  Please let me know if you're still looking and what your budget is: [email protected].

I am getting married in Ontario in July 2011. I love the Mikaella dress 1406. I am a perfect size 10. If you have one for sale please let me know. Or if you are looking for the dress, i am willing to purchase and resell after.

Hi everyone,

I am selling this dress for ~$1100 obo incl shipping and bolero.  I am flexible with price.  If you'd like to see more pictures (with bolero particularly) you can email me at [email protected].  The dress did end up costing me $2000 because of alterations and bolero (the bolero was an additional $150 to the $1300 dress cost).  The largest cost of the alterations was the bubble hem (wish I had been told that hemming a bubble hem would be $350!! cheesy.gif) and the bustling.  The bustle is super easy and consists of two ties underneath the dress.  I am 5'9" and wore flats to my wedding, so it was altered to that height.  I am located in Alberta, but the dress is in BC at my parents place.  It has been professionally dry cleaned (another $150- eek wacko.gif).

I wore this dress for my September 10th wedding and it has since been hanging in my closet waiting to be cleaned and put up for sale.  It's a size 6 that only has the sides and bust slightly taken in and cups added.  I also had buttons added down the back right at the manufacturer - which is in Toronto, you have to like the fact that Mikealla/Paloma Blanca still manufacture their gowns in Canada.  The hem was kept unaltered.  I am 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels and as the night wore on the dress began to hang a bit and dragged on the floor therefore it is quite dirty on the bottom.  If you're planning on altering the length of this dress then any marks that may still be on the bottom after cleaning will be hemmed out anyways.  I'm located in Ontario and willing to sell the dress for $650 - assuming it's not going to cost a fortune to clean.  Let me know if there's any interest out there!  Thanks!
