Ceiba Del Mar or Maroma honeymoon reviews - Riviera Maya?

Looking for some reviews for a nice place to honeymoon in Riviera Maya. Small resorts only please. If you've honeymooned at Ceiba del Mar or Maroma the smaller one, please let me know how you liked it, which room you had, etc.

OK...I just got back from my honeymoon at Secrets Maroma Beach in the Riviera Maya....it was amazing!!!! All the rooms are Jr. Suites; however I had the swim out room! I had an amazing time...will be going back for our anniversary! I highly recommend it. I have nothing negative to say about this resort! I have traveled to Mexico in the past, but this is the best resort I have stayed at.

Ceci, Thanks so much. I also heard nice things about Ceiba which is I think less expensive. do you mind giving me an idea of what you paid per night for that awesome suite? I saw the photos online and it looks unbelievable. How could you have a bad time in a paradise like that? Congrats to you!!

Ceci, I would love to hear more about SMB as well. We're getting married at Dreams Cancun and planning the HM at Secrets. How was the service? Did you upgrade to the Preferred Club? Thanks!!

So, we ended up not booking maroma, only because Secrets is so large and we got a great deal for a suite with private terrace and poop at Ceiba del mar. but I looked again at the Maroma site and the Spa looks ridiculous!!! I'm sure it was a great honeymoon.
