My DIY fan attempt...

Got the fans, ribbon and charm at Michaels...wanting to make them more personal by adding our names and the date...

 

 

 

 

Now I need opinions how how to add our names and our date...my mom suggested finding Sanddollars and getting a brownish gold pen and print them on ourselves and attaching them with ribbon and my FI said maybe we could get a stamp and stamp them all while they are open and so when you open them you can see our name and the date....I need suggestions...HELP!

Why don't you print your names and date on card stock, punch a hole in it and tie it near the charm. That way people can reuse the fans again.

 

Or you can hand write on the one side of the fan when it's closed along the side.

I like finleys idea of writing it on the side when its closed - or maybe you could write the date on the inside when its open - not sure how that would work!

I also got these type of fans, and what we did was remove the tassle and attach a cardstock tag with our logo on it, then reattach the tassle. Looks cute!

Or you could get it printed on ribbon and put the ribbon in the middle of the ribbon you have on there.

I bought the same fans and I was just going to do the card stock tied with ribbon idea. I like your charms and I think they would hold a tag down nicely.
