Yes, we tested them in water. We didn't put them in the dishwasher (since they aren't safe for that - they did come with a little care note in each one from the seller) but we hand washed them and let them air and hand dry a few times. No problems.

 

Also, something else that occurred to me. If you take your labels some place to get printed, and you used a font that isn't standard, make your file into a PDF or your labels into pictures so that when they open up the file your font doesn't change.

Love these! I am thinking of doing the same thing with waterproof stickers instead of paying extra for a company to customize them.
