Engaged in Riviera Maya!

My fiance Matt planned a trip to The Valentin Imperial Maya in August. He planned a private dinner on the beach the second night we were there. We arrived at sunset and the view was amazing! As we walked down to the beach our waitor handed me a single rose (I started to feel like I was on the bachelor!). We sat down for dinner and about 20 minutes into our meal we got up to walk along the water. That's when he surprised me and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so surprised and happy. I fell to my knees and hugged him and said yes!

 

We are planning our wedding in either Riviera Maya or PV. Can't wait!!!

Wow-I have pretty much the same exact engagement story as you-private dinner on the beach at the Valentin this past summer-how funny! It truly is such a romantic place! My fiance and I are planning our destination wedding at the Valentin next summer-we just loved it so much! Best of luck planning yours!
