Assistance Please DIY Invitations

Hey Ladies,

 

I ordered DIY invitation kits from cards and pockets. What is the best adhesive to use when I stick the paper invitation to the mat? I know paper usually ripples if you use the wrong adhesive? Can anyone offer me any advice/recommendations?

Hmm... I don't know if I would use glue. When we talked about getting pocketfolds from the paper store by our place, they recommended using double sided craft tape.

 

Maybe you could try that? But otherwise I would suggest something acid or acetone free - you don't want it to stain your paper...

I used a tape runner, like this...

Def use the tape runner. It is the one of the best DIY craft inventions ever!

I am a huge fan of the Tombo Mondo adhesive roller - you should be able to find it at Michaels. Either the permanent or the repositionable tapes are good.

 

If you're using a velum, be sure to get velum adhesive but otherwise the Tombo works well with almost any paper.

I used a Herma-Dotto Permanent adhesive!! That thing sticks like crazy!! A little pricey but, when you use the 40% off coupon at Michael's. It's not so bad.. Good luck!
