Beer buckets as centerpiece?

While I think it's a cute idea for a super bowl party, I would honestly rethink this for your wedding. This is a classic day that you will remember forever. Do you really want the focus of the table decor to be beer bottles? If you love beer so much, why don't you have a specialty beer you love served at the cocktail hour or put a dinner menu together and pair each course with a specific beer. There are plenty of ways to create a laid back atmosphere without using beer as the focus of your reception tables.

I say if you want beer centerpieces, go for it! I think you should put them in koozies that match your wedding color and put them in a pretty bucket to class them up.

 

To be honest, I think that's a lot more functional than flowers that are going to die out anyway, and if that's what you and FI want, then I think it's a great idea.

I love the idea! and I think you can make it look classy opposed to superbowl-ish. The pictures from autojo are a great example! The right bucket and table setting will totally help carry this off. Also the right beers... nicer bottle like corona (avoid budweiser or others like this). I also like the idea of different drinks in it, wine, champagne and beer, yum! I like the idea of stuff int he ice, like flowers or limes, could also add some led throwies to have them have a nice glow.

 

I'm with you, we did want flowers or candles. So we are doing a pimp your cupcake centerpeice, blank cupcakes, icing bags and candies.

 

There is nothing i love more than searching for stuff on google...what I found while i had my morning coffee
