Transportation from Airport?

Recommended Posts

Did anyone arrange this? I may be having mine at the Hilton Los Cabos- do they provide anything? Or did anyone use a third party service? We are also thinking about having a welcome reception a few nights before at a local restaurant and would need transportation to that

The Hilton has a service but if I remember correctly is was pricey. We have one group coming in together (11 of them) so I hired a van that seats 7 and 4 of them are following in a taxi. We got our van through Transcabo and it's $120 round trip. The taxi is about $30. The rest of our group are coming in at different times, so they are just taking a taxi.

We have a group of 38 people total and everyone is coming in groups but all at different times. I have used "Los Cabos Airport Shuttle" both times that I have been in Cabo and they have been great. The cost is usually $25 per person round trip to the Hilton but I was able to get all my guests taken care of for $18.50 each.

I am also using a bus to take us roundtrip from Hilton to Mi Casa for the welcome dinner and the cost for that is $450.00.

If you would like the contact email of the person I am working with send me a PM and i will get it to you.

When I visited the Hilton a little over a month ago, Hilton didn't have airport transportation, but Emeline told me that they were going to start having their own airport transportation service, sort of like the shuttles you see at the airport that are specifically for the Palmilla or whereever. Not sure if that was a free service or not, but definitely worth checking on if you're going with the Hilton.

We used TransCabo - they were GREAT!!! I just gave my guests the info and had them book on their own so that I didn't have to worry about it. We grouped up people arriving at the same time. If you have enough people, you can get a great rate if you book a private van (~8-10 ppl). They were really reliable and everyone was very happy!

Provide your guests with the information and then let them sort it out. It can get really hectic when people are calling you with questions. Also, please let them know that if they think they will want to rent a car, they should do it before they leave. I had 4 families ask me to take them to the airport so they could get a rental car and 3 of those complained about how much more expensive it was now that they were there.

You don't need to worry about other people's transportation (aside from giving them information and options).

I totally forgot to say that! Just give them the info & don't get involved! It blows me away how demanding some guests are, I would never have even expected the bride/groom to provide transportation for me, let alone ask them for a ride to get a rental car!

You have enough to worry about!
