Can I ship favors to my photog?

I wanted to get your opinion on something. I really want to order my maracas from Mischka. She is not in Playa, but in Vallarta maybe? Anyways, I also have Elizabeth Medina booked as my photog. Mischka said that the maracas could ship to the Mayan Riviera for about $60, and that to ship them to the US, it costs more than the maracas themselves, so no one ever wants to do that.

I don't know the etiquette on something like this, but do you think that I could ask EM if I could have them shipped to her, and have her bring them to the wedding? I guess to me, it sounds like an easy solution, but it's also a lot to ask and impose.

Thoughts?

Are you using a WC? If you are, you could ship to her since that seems to be more within the scope of a WC. The photographer may charge you extra unless maybe you can include a meal for her during the reception or something like that.

Great idea lizzy, but we can consider this thread closed- my FABULOUS photographer has offered to do it!!! I am so happy---- the two things I wanted most--- handpainted maracas and EM!
