I have been talking to Dawn there and she has been great at returning phone calls and emails.
What services does she provide for you? I've been quoted based on my estimated guest count of 200 people...no one tells me exactly what they will do for the $1500USD they are asking.

Thanks!

Dawn is great and if you tell her you budget and exactly what you are looking for, she is very upfront.

We were booked at RIU and had more guests coming than we thought so our free wedding was now 1300 without pics or anything - so I started talking with Dawn she met my budget got me what I wanted and we moved the wedding off resort.

Our budget is really low - so she had a few options, once being Aquasol beach and the other which we decided to go with was The Twisted Kilt- its probably not most peoples ideal place - but this will 2nd weddings for both of us and its a very irish place and im marrying into a very irish family. They have a beach area for weddings and then you rent out one of the balconys for the reception.

Not lower than ours! We're trying to have a really nice wedding with a crap load of people...only issue is...we're both really cheap!! lol

I've never heard of the Twisted Kilt, but sounds really interesting!

Good luck and Happy Planning!

We are getting married in Negril, I cannot remember the name of the beach we are getting married at. I can't seem to find where I wrote it down so I just emailed Dawn about it.

Our budget for the actual wedding is almost twice that. We are getting :
• Marriage License
• Processing of all legal documents prior to wedding day
• Two Certified copies of Marriage Certificates
• 2 tier wedding cake for (10 people)
• Bridal Bouquet made with roses and orchids
Made of honor bouquet made with roses and orchids
Corsages for both mothers
• Orchid Boutonniere for groom, best man, father of bride
• Decorated Wedding Area (archway)
• Location set-up for 10 people
• 2 bottles of champagne and 2 bottles of wine
• Decorated Table for signing of wedding documents
• Professional on site Wedding coordinator
• 50-60 chosen Digital Images on CD 1 – 1 ½ hour session

She is also providing transportation to the wedding for everyone and the reception.

Hope this helps

  • 4 weeks later...

I have been emailing back and forth with Dawn for a couple of weeks now and she's been great at responding back right away, at least within 24-48 hours at most.

The only thing is that it's taking her awhile to put together a package for me so I'm not sure what the end total will be and what's actually included...LOL

It's good to hear nice reviews about her, makes it tough to decide whether to go with Dawn or Almarie at TWJ.

Update!

I decided to do everything myself...I plan to head to JA at the end of the month and have a few venues and a few vendors to meet with(thanks to the referrals found on board!)

I think we'll be okay b/c once we secure our venue -- Coyaba Gardens is top choice-- hopefully everything else will fall into place. My biggest concern is the cost for party rentals like tables, chair, silverware etc. We have plenty of family in the hospitality business so I'm hoping that can assist with our efforts!

Thanks for reading! I'll keep you ladies updated!!!
