We're BOOKED!!! 08/09/10

Well, I just paid my deposit and have our wedding booked!! We were lucky that Makena Weddings were available on our date to do our wedding.....I've heard wonderful things about Reverend Alapaki and his wife Laurie!! She's been so great to deal with so far!!!

 

Our wedding is going to be on the lower wedding knoll at the Wailea Golf Course and our reception at The SeaWatch Restaurant!!! The property looks amazing and I am SO excited!!!!!! We initially wanted a beach wedding, but my fiance really wanted to have the date 08/09/10 (it's silly, but it makes him happy, so I'm fine withit...lol).....and Laurie has advised me that the beaches would be NUTS with weddings that day. She suggested SeaWatch so that we'd have a more secluded location, more private and I really like that!!! It looks beautiful there!!! Anyone been to this location??

Congratulations! I visited the Seawatch in May (I am having my wedding reception there on 8/4/10) and it was beautiful! The sunset was fantastic. My sister and I just stood there and looked at the view and could not tear ourselves away.

 

There are several brides on this forum who have had there wedding receptions there and they all say really good things.

 

Oh, and I didn't eat there, but my brother had dinner there when he was in Maui on his honeymoon and said it was delicious!
