Vegas Baby!!

I originally wanted something outdoors at Mandalay Bay (Valley of the Falls) & possibly an in-suite reception but since we will be there in August and it will be super hot, I don't want to force my guests to sit outside. I figured we will have plenty of other picture opportunites. I've also considered having the reception somewhere like ESPN Zone since my FI & his friends are all huge sports fans and we could plan to be there when college football starts.

 

I've found its really tough trying to plan when we really have no idea how many people are coming! So many people say they will come but when it comes times to book there are excuses everywhere!

I like the idea of an in-suite reception too, either that or a private room within a restaurant. I've looked at a few different places like Magganio's located at the fashion showmall, Smith and Wollensky which is not far from MGM grand on the same side of the strip or Joe's seafood, steak and stone crab located in the forum shops. They all have private rooms for receptions. I'm in the same situation, can't book anything as it's too far away. Everyone is saying they'll come but when it comes to booking I'm sure some guests will pull out....

We did an insuite reception at one of the Panorama Suites at Planet Hollywood. You may want to look into those or the Vista or Media Suite at Mandalay Bay.
