Question about Mortgage Fees

Ugh - I know how you all feel. I am actually in a full review right now that involves my CPA, real estate attorney, and financial planner. Getting married (my husband has a business, I have partial in a biz as well as income property with my family and my husband is selling his place) really complicated things this year! It's not my favorite topic. AND it really blows to sit in a room with these three guys and realize that I'm paying each of them by the hour!

Come to think of it - this might help all you brides relax a bit. If you get sick in Cabo, the hotels will go out of their way to help you (at least as the bride) and there is even a delivery service that will bring medication to you or your guests at your hotel and it wasn't expensive all things considered.

Janet how did the house hunting go? First off ladies, thank you so much for all the advice and input. I'm still confused and I admit that it sounds like a whole other language to me. But hopefully with due time I will pick things up here and there.

 

As far as my co-op shopping it did not go well at all. The places were perfectly nice and they were actually reasonably priced but the co-op board requires that we each make $100,000 (neither of us do), have excellent credit (I do, FI doesn't) and we have to put down 20%. Yeah that's like $85,000 to $100,000 down. No way Jose.

 

So I have officially given up on the real estate market. I think I am just going to have to suck it up and rent. Uggh!

We definitely did not find our dream house! But we are hitting the pavement again tomorrow. Wish me luck!

 

Wow those coop boards sound not so fun. It's a wonder they have any buyers anymore! It seems like a very small pool of people who fit that criteria. Hubby and I are savers with good credit and everything, but we still don't even come CLOSE! I guess I will count my blessings
