Riviera Maya or Puerto Vallarta?

Hi my name is Sarah. I'm looking forward to using this forum! My fiance Matt and I are planning to get married June 2010. We were engaged at the Valentin Imperial in the Riviera Maya and we are looking for suggestions on a resort we can get married at in the Riviera Maya. My nieces and nephew will be with us and I'm having a hard time finding an elegant ,yet family friendly, affordable-for-guests resort! It seems like Dreams Puerto Vallarta might be a good alternative if we can't find something in the Riviera Maya. Help!

Hi Sarah, I had a hard time deciding too, but eventually found that Dreams fit all my needs (intimate setting but also family friendly). It's also a very short drive from the airport which I really wanted. But the best part that you definitely won't get on the Riviera Maya side is the SUNSETS!!!!

Welcome Sarah! I'm totally biased here too cuz we chose Dreams PV. And you can't beat the sunsets!! Maybe check out the threads for both areas and def contact a travel agent. They'll be able to answer your questions & help you find a great resort.
