I was followed out of the mall today

I'm glad your story had a happy ending, because it definitely could have been much worse. If we owned a big truck and I beat it up because some jerk was trying to corner me, FI would pay to have it fixed with a smile on his face lol

And it's guys like this creep that make me want to carry around a paintball gun. Not lethal, but can still hurt like hell and you could say to the cops "It's a guy wearing a blue shirt, jeans, and a big red blob of paint on his ass!" lol FI thinks I'm nuts

Well, after reading all this I must say...I wish I could tell a story like you. Such eloquence and charisma! Thank you for sharing.

Gushing aside, I am glad you are okay and that you didn't get hurt (too bad he didn't get hurt...)

Now I am going to convince my FI to buy a SUV...

Wow, that's scary sh*t!! I'm glad you're okay, once your adrenaline came down!! lol

I had a similar thing happen to me when I was 14 or so. I was walking up the hill of my street - imagine our street is a capital "L" and we live in the corner viewing up to the top. I left my house walking somewhere (too long ago, can't remember where) and I saw this strange looking guy going in the same direction. I passed him, he crossed the street afterwards and was now walking a short distance behind me. I could sense him (yes at 14) speeding up his pace and getting closer. By the time he was almost within arm's reach, I made it to my friends house, unannounced, and ran for the door. I was screaming for help and crying hysterically while banging on the door. They opened it and he creepy sh*thead ran!! I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS FACE!! E.V.E.R.

A few years later, he came into a fast food joint I worked in (shelling fried chicken) a few times. I hid in the back and explained to the manager why I refused to serve him. I didn't want him to know I worked there. He had gained A LOT of weight but otherwise seemed normal. He ordered his food and left like everyone else. I figured he had mental-health issues and was self-medicating with illegal drugs when he followed me. Thank goodness I don't work in retail/food service anymore.

LOL!! My FI would do the same if we had a big truck!! But he would think the paintball gun idea is awesome for self-defense situations! Although I'm sure law enforcement wouldn't condone it msnwink.gif

Oh, Dear LORD!!! HOW SCARED YOU MUST HAVE BEEN!!!

What the hell is WRONG with some people....particularly men when they see something they like/want (particularly if it's a pretty girl)?!? I am so sorry you had to deal with that nonsense, and thank GOD you got out of there ok, with a very real story of warning to tell! And your FI is right -- no material object (his truck, your fab e-dress, anything) is worth getting hurt over in the long run.

I'm so glad you are ok and let it be a reminder/lesson to us all that we constantly have to be aware of our surroundings! BLESS YOUR HEART, LOVE!

And P.S. You look gorgeous in your glam blue dress and I think that smile in your pics is partly due to your victory over that male-mall-moron!
