Ordered some stuff today - SUPER excited!!

Today is the first day I've ordered things for the wedding and AHR!!! It makes me so excited!!! I ordered chair sashes from Wedding Linens Direct. I also submitted custom orders for flowers and bridesmaid jewelry from a couple different people on Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade

 

For flowers I'm using Custom wedding flowers bridal bouquets and more by jdleggans Who's going to make me bouquets of Real Touch plumeria and orchids. I love the other things she has for sale and she has GREAT prices!

 

Then I'm having custom jewelry made by: Wild Orchid Gems by wildorchidgems on Etsy

She's going to do this design but in our colors (pearls will be light green, stones will be hot pink) with matching earrings.

 

I can't wait to get our stuff! This makes it seem so much more real. I also can't wait to post reviews for them. I know they'll do an excellent job and I'd love to refer more brides to them!

Holy Crap girl we're too much alike!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our spare room has become my wedding shrine too. I just sit in there and poke at things, now if someone else goes in like my stepdaughter looking for her winter coat, I am right behind her asking her what she is doing. Yeah no sleepover guest until after the wedding.... Kidding they can sleep on the floor somewhere lol

How are you transporting the flowers? Will they get ruined in your suitcase? I have been considering doing the same thing since flowers are NOT cheap!!!

I've heard of alot of other brides just take them in their checked luggage. I'll probably make up some sort of cardboard box to go over the them so they don't get really smashed. But I should be able to fix them once we get there if they do.... We'll see how they pull through being shipped to me. There's a lot more threads about other vendors - but this etsy lady was cheaper than them and super friendly!! I love her other work too so I'm really excited to see what she does for me!
