How far out did you book your flight?

We booked our flights recently so like 8-7 months out

We booked a little while ago, like 8.5 months out. Our TA said she was already seeing the cheap seats go cuz it's over Memorial Day weekend so we figured we'd better get it done.

We did ours in September and thats 8 months before our wedding. You will feel like a huge weight is lifted when you do book, then you can focus on the fun stuff!!!

Question: how many people have booked their trip but still kept looking and realized their package has drop in price?

I think you have to book almost a yr in advance to get the date and time that you want

We booked 8 months in advance and we stopped looking after that...I'm pretty sure it will keep going up until last minute deals will pop up..so we are happy we got such a good deal!

Our price never dropped lower after we got it....I think the closest was about $50 more per person. And our price was only up for a day. So it pays to be tracking the airfare daily.

i am getting married in Feb and we booked ours in June. Watch Kayak.com and book when you see a great (Non-Stop- if you can) flight.

 

Don't bother doing the hops to save money!! You have a MUCH MUCH better chance of getting your luggage lost especially going to a destination wedding-- trust me I am a flight attendant.

 

I went to a wedding in Cancun in Feb and one of the bridesmaids lost her luggage on the way down and STILL to this day has never gotten it back!

I live in montreal, and unless you don't buy the package you always have a direct flight, I count myself lucky!! I've yet to loose any luggage yet (knock on wood)

 

I booked my trip a few weeks ago, the package I booked for is no longer available!!! and the other packages for the same resort is 150$ more then what I payed.
