Hacienda Tres Rios Brides Post Here!

Recommended Posts

I finally signed my wedding contract this week.  The process took me a few weeks.  It was slow and a little difficult to get answers from Allibe at H3R, but eventually she addressed all my concerns.  She is very nice and accomodating but perhaps too busy.  Now I can start planning all the fun parts.

Congrats Jen! Once our contract was signed it was pretty much smooth sailing after that. Have you decided on all your other vendors yet? When are you getting married at H3R? My FI and I are getting married there on May 20, 2012, we're so excited! Let me know if you have any questions on vendors, I have contacted tons.

Hi Amy, How was your visit?? How was the tasting? Did you choose of the plated list they provide or did you get to pick whatever you wanted?

Hi!

The visit was great!  So  much to do in so little time!  We picked exactly what we liked for the plates, but we did end up going with the same option for every person (vs buffet or family style).  We ended up going with a really nice surf and turf option, and we will let them know about any vegetarians the week of.  I met with the florist, the DJ (we are going with DJ mania the new resort preferred DJ), Gama (rentals), and hair/makeup (alexandro).  I had a trial by alexandro and liked his work).  Sorry cant write more at the moment, but overall it went well!

Hi! Do you mind telling us what your surf and turf option consisted of?  We are doing a tasting when we go there the week of our wedding and wanted to do a split plate also!

Thank you,

April :)

Hey ladies!!!!!!  Becks1581's wedding is officially out in the Best Destination Weddings and Honeymoons magazine!!!!!  :D  The resort did SUCH an amazing job, as did the couple's other vendors (and of course, the couple did an amazing job planning!!!).  Anyways, I'm so grateful to know these two and to have been a part of their wedding day...and so I thought I'd share!!!  Check out the issue on stands now (you can also check out the digital version of the issue on the magazine's website for free!!). And another of their images is being published in a December issue as well!!!!

Hi ladies!

I've been very MIA from the forum in the last couple of months but thought I'd stop by to see how everyone's planning is going!  It was a sweet surprise to see that Terra (best and most fun photographer-EVER) had posted our magazine page :-)

Glancing back at the last few pages, it seems like everything is going well.  Let me know if you have any questions...H3R was great and we loved our vendors.  In fact, I was really surprised to read that Allibe thought Ivan was no flexible.  We changed several things the week of our wedding...like reception location, size of dance floor, etc and he never blinked an eye.   Basically, if there were problems, we didn't know (which was fine by me!!)   Marvin was AWESOME for flowers too!

I'll try to keep in better touch b/c I know how helpful it can be to talk to a past bride.  I can also be reached on my email; [email protected]

WOW! I have not been on here for a LONG time! Anyways... We actually already got married legally in the US. I find it way too difficult and too much of a hassle to legally get married in mexico. Plus I needed to renew my passport sooo it only made sense! I'm down to only 8 weeks!

CONGRATS! on your Magazine debut! your wedding looked absolutely amazing and I am so excited to go!! My date is January 21st, 2012. Time has flown by!!! Allibe has been great to communicate with about everything but sometimes I feel like things are soooo relaxed I get scared that Ill have time to get it all together when I get there. I will be arriving the Tuesday prior to our wedding on Saturday. Do you believe this is enough time for food tasting and finding ceremony/reception locations, etc? Obviously it becomes a little nerve wracking when you can't just go there and meet with everyone...and its all planning through e-mails, but luckily I'm not overly worried and pretty relaxed considering. Thanks for your consistent posting and updates it truly helps listening to everyone say how awesome the resort, and Allibe are for everything!
