can you ship items to resort

Hi my daughter is getting married in Beaches Negril on May8 2010.

 

We are slightly overwelmed with questions. Your sight is perfect because I'm

 

seeing questions answered already that we have had. Has anyone

 

actually shipped items to Beaches so they didn't have to put them in the

 

suitcase?

I'm sure someone on here knows the answer to this for you. Personally, to be safe, I would call or email the resort and ask them.

I am getting married at Beaches Turks and Caicos and you can NOT ship items ahead of time. Im going to assume that is the same for all beaches/sandals resorts. Im not bringing a ton of stuff but I will be having my parents, bridesmaids and family bringing a few items down for us. So we do not have a million suitcases. a lot of stuff that you may want are included or can be rented for a small fee etc.

Although I'm not getting married at Beaches, my TA has warned me against shipping anything to my resort in Jamaica. I think deliveries can be sketchy and if something doesn't get there you'd have problems. Let's see what the TA's on this board have to say.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you could get a lot of questions answered!

As the previous posters have said, I would not ship anything ahead of time. Rather just split things up among family and friends who are attending. That's the safest way to make sure that everything gets to your resort.
