I'm so glad there is a place for May brides - I like seeing where I am at in the planning compared to everyone else. =) So far I am still behind, due to family drama about the wedding, but everything is back on track!

Hi May brides. I am still in the planning stages like everyone else. Since the customs tariffs are so high in Italy, we've decided to mail out our OOT packages as pre-travel packages. They will go out in a few weeks. I will be DIY-ing a lot of it-- which I do love to do.

 

We're getting closer and closer to 2 May when we leave. I am getting more excited. I have a few things left to do but I am on track. I am waiting for a few things like a confirmation of my hair appointment and doing a few things to make our marriage legal in both US and Italy.

 

 

I cannot wait to be able to post my planning journal. Good luck to all of you, May is only a little over 3 months away!!

Ok, it's now 3 months to the day we leave! I've emailed the wedding coordinator to see what details we can start working on. Invites are printed, now it's just a matter of getting them assembled and sent out!

 

I just started a new job last week and now I'm too busy to do wedding stuff at work. Bummer.

I see that more people are booking for you too, I'm very happy to hear that! I unfortunately am not having such great luck. I'm hoping that changes very soon.

No luck? I see that your wedding is still 3 months away...maybe they'll start booking next month! All of my bridal party are booked but FI's 3 guys are not booked. I think that is it for us regarding guests. I don't think any more guests are coming. I know how frustrating it is because you need numbers for your OOT, and other stuff! Maybe you should contact the potential ones (the ones who expressed interest in going) and tell them that the resort is almost sold out. maybe that will push their butts to book! That is what I did. I put in a small note in the invites and stated that the resort is almost sold out and for them to book soon. I also put in "to ensure a dinner plate, please RSVP" something like that. It may be rude but it's for their own good that way they won't be standing around looking like an idiot with no dinner plate!
