I still have left to do:

-Decide on first dance, dad/bride dance, groom/mom dance

-Book a makeup trial with MAC

-Do a hair trial if I want to

-Insure wedding rings

-Make ribbon wands

-Create programs and attach them to raffia fans

-Create a protype for wedding lumainers (?)

-Pay the final balance for the wedding at the resort

-Turn in wedding checklist and guest count to WC

-Create menus for dinner & signature cocktail

-Turn in the photographer must haves list

-Pay remaining balance for the photog

-Choose music for the ceremony

-Buy picture frames

-Buy place holders

-Create wedding luminaries

-purchase things for survival kits

-Create survival kits

-Create pashmina tags

-Create "reserved" tags for parents

-Write own vows

-Final dress fitting

-Do seating plan

-Create place cards

-Book appointments for eyebrow threading, facials, spray on tanning and maincure/pedicure

-Send thank you cards for bridal showers

-Buy clothing for Mexico

-Pack

-Post the planning thread! (Don't forget yours!)

LOL everytime I see a list from you ladies it reminds me of all the stuff I forget and leave out..LOL O man where is my mind...

I have a ton left to do too. And I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

~Discuss/write ceremony with FI (& figure out if we're writing vows together or separate)

~Finish getting music together

~Find aloe & sudoku for OOT bags

~2nd dress fitting is 4/22 (at some point I have to fork over a whole lotta $ for that too)

~Finalize menu & send it & guest count to Dreams

~Practice dancing with FI

~Pashmina tags

~Finish place cards (of course I can't do this yet cuz I still have people bailing & it changes the tables around, ugh!)

~Send readings to FI's sisters & my brother

~Find spa wraps for BM's

~Make spa appts for hair (me & BM's)

~Pack a bag to give to FI's brother to bring down (need that done by next week)

~Still haven't received my BD pics from Jen & I need to make my book!

~Apply for our marriage license - need go to marriage bureau twice: once to sign/apply in person & then our legal day is 5/21

~Figure out when we're supposed to pay for our reception

~All of the various & sundry things to beautify myself (wax, tanning, mani's & pedi's - thanks for the reminder, Di!)

~WORK OUT!! (I did today, so that's a start)

Shannon, maybe you guys could make wedding albums for your parents on shutterfly or blurb as gifts? They'll love them and you won't have to stress about finding something to give them down there.

DianeP, I totally hear you! This whole school thing is putting a crimp in my wedding planning! What are you studying?

JT do you have pics of your OOT bags?

i'm adding a few things to my list as i read through these responses, so that's both good and bad...

You're lists are so helpful!! Thanks Di, I totally forgot I still need to write my vows... avoiding this one big time. Me winging it up there would be a total disaster!

Karen - I bought hand sanitizer at Target for $1 each... although this may be cheaper at a dollar store.

Man these final details are really annyoing to me, less fun than other stuff!

Wow, working & school on the weekends?! Sounds rough!

I'm getting my master's in nursing as a family nurse practitioner. I'm not working right now (for $), but I do have clinical 1 day a week (sometimes 2) at a family clinic in the Bronx and this summer it'll be like 3 days/week.

It really is good to read everyone's lists! We'll keep each other on top of our crap.

Hey I found hand sanitizer in a store called deals in the city. They were two for a dollar. I bought them b/c it was pink, honestly LOL. My colors are Grey/silver, Pink and white...

I live in brooklyn close to queens. They have alot of stuff to like beach ball for one dollar toys for little kids. Its a really good dollar and up store....
