lol! I am still out here. I had two get-togethers that I wanted to get past this weekend before I started. They are over, now I just need to get motivated! I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to go to the actual meetings, but I'll head over to the online site right now and report back asap...

Thanks for keepin me in line girls- seriously I have no self control and no motivation!

Yay Kash! It's great to see progress.

I know you're avoiding eating out, but here are some tips if you have to:

-Just don't let them put the chips or bread on the table.

-Bean burritos are a low point option (high in fiber).

-If you are out for Italian, ask them for a small amount of pasta and a large portion of mixed vegetables (steamed if you can) either with tomato sauce or plain. I had a very restricted diet due to health issues and every time I asked for this, they accommodated with no problem (it's a low cost/high margin product for a restaurant so they are happy to comply). Ask for whole wheat pasta - you never know, they might have it.

-Soup and salad works if you are out for business as you can break both up and eat an appetizer and meal. Obviously, dressing on the side.

-I know you said you don't eat chicken. Do you eat sushi? That's a great low point option (DO NOT eat the edamame)

Thanbks on the new pic. I actually wanted that for the side bar pic initially, but I like it on the sig. My FI would probably appreciate it. I don't think he liked his pic blasted all ove the internet anyway.

If you have been following the program, you should be down. The first week usually reflects the biggest loss. I think I lost 3 or 4 lbs my first week. After that, it will probably taper down to 1.5 to 2 lbs a week. Which is good, bcz that will turn out to be 6 - 10 lbs a month.

Just take it day by day. I'm so glad you like the program!

Good tips natasha! I DO eat sushi and LOVE it! Yum - I'm glad I can eat it - maybe the next time someone 3wants to go out to eat I'll suggest sushi! What's wrong with the edamame? My FI buys it at Trader Joes (the frozen bags) and it never ocurred to me that it would be bad for you. Is it the salt?

Sarah - I'm glad you made it over! I had a weekend where I ate lots of food BUT I have ot say I'm feeling good! You know at the meetings you don't have to say anything by the way - you can just sit in the back and listen to what people have to say. I''ve only been to the one meeting but they had some good tips. For example I learned about this website; http://www.hungry-girl.com - which seems pretty cool and has some good ideas dfor tasty low calorie (or point) food.

So today I went one point over my daily limit but I guess that's what the "flex points" are for. When I counted myself I was exactly at 22 (my daily point limit) BUT when I inputed it into the website it came out with one point more than I thought...

I have to say I'm very excited about doing this and finally losing some weight! I want to look beautiful and thin in my wedding dress!
