Congrats on the new job! Most of my staple piecess are Banana or JCrew. I then mix them up with trendy stuff like cute tops and shoes from Kohls, Target, even Old Navy. The trendy stuff doesn't last forever, but by the time it wears out it is out of fahsion anyways! As for shopping online find the places that offer free shipping both ways (like zappos.com). That way you can try it on and ship it back if you don't like it. Good luck with everything

other good places to shop for conservative clothing would be LL Bean or Lands End... some things are probably too casual but they do have some nice pants/sweaters/blouses.
