She had no issues. Resort steamed it and she was good to go. I will probably do the same...

AnaSteele58, thank you. I have definitely thought about the storage bag as a way transporting my dress. I will make my final decision once I talk to the airline. If I'm able to carry my dress on and store it safely I'll do that but if not I will be using your co-worker's method .
