How much time for pictures?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to plan my timeline and how many hours I'll need my photographer (Claudia...yay!). My ceremony starts and 3pm and the sunset is at 5:30. I want to have enough time to get some shots getting ready before the ceremony, couples shots before the ceremony, group pictures after and also couples shots on the beach after. Pictures are super important to me so I don't want to rush them. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Awe you got Claudia!!

I've been trying but she's booked, so I emailed her to see if Citlalli is avail but she hasn't gotten back to me!

My ceremony is at 2pm and dinner is at 6pm so I'm hoping that's enough time for pics...wish I could help you out more but I have no idea myself!

Good luck and Congrats!

I would definitely say at least an hour and a half if you want pictures of the two of you before the ceremony. That gives enough time for her to take pictures of you getting in your dress, and then for a few couples shots before the ceremony. Remember that you'll probably want a few minutes to prep before the ceremony begins. You'll probably get warm during photos so you'll want to blot and cool down before walking down the aisle.
