I need your opinion on dresses!

The second dress is fancier and a little poofier than the one I already have, but along the same lines. The first dress is dramatically different!

I voted for dress #1. It would be good if you could get pics of you in the dresses though I am partial to #1 for a few reasons: a)I love the champagne color! I am a big fan of pick-up style skirts (my dress has them too).

 

If I recall correctly you wanted to find something "more" than the dress you have now, so with that in mind I definitely think #1 is it! Go get some pics in it!

I don't know if it's different in other parts of the country, but all the dress shops I've gone will not let you take pictures of the dresses, so I don't have any of me in it! Maybe David's does though, I'm hoping to get back there this weekend with the MIL for her opinion and we'll take some then (if they'll let me!).

My bridal shop wouldn't allow me to take pics until I purchased my dress, however most of the other did (I also live in Michigan) so it doesn't hurt to ask them. Can't wait to see what you decide.

Sarah - yeah, you are right, I wasn't thinking. I remember when I was trying on dresses, I asked my friend to take a pic w/her celll phone & all of the sudden 2 ladies came flying around the corner "no!" I was not happy with that!

Ok, both are beautiful, but you know I had to vote for #2 - that's my gown. :-)

Both are pretty. I am still partial to your original dress. I'm not sure why - maybe because you really looked so sweet in it.

 

FYI - 2 out of 3 shops wouldn't let me take a picture, but every once in awhile you find an attendent who says, "I'm going to step outside, I think I may have a different dress for you, it might take a second to find." That means you can take a picture.

 

In the end, I think you haven't found your dress. Just like Stephanie said, the dress she picked was the first one that made her cry. You find a lot of dresses that look good, you like, but you know the one that suits you when you try it on.

I know, and I'm bummed. I guess I have to keep looking. I would have to say that dress #1 is the closest to the "one", but I still don't know...Maybe the one I have is the one, I just need to realize it! I just feel like I need something with a little more excitement.

Hey Sarah..I really like the first one and I think the colours would look great on you:) and dont worry it being to big to wear for the beach, its only one day in your life so you should wear what you absolutely love...how tall are your? maybe I can help you look for some dresses online
