We just got engaged and are looking at where to get married. We want to do destination wedding at a good value so we are looking at playa del carmen but we are open to other ideas.

Congratulations and welcome. As I was looking at destinations I was also thinking the same thing. I feel that Mexico has many things to offer while being reasonable for my family and friends. I also looked at DR and Jamaica as possible locations since they have a vast amount of all inclusive resorts as well. Good luck on your seach and happy planning.

Congrats and welcome! The time of year that you choose will def have an impact on the price...low season vs high. If you dont have your heart set on a specific date this can work to your advantage as I believe pricing really starts to drop quite a bit in June..then July-Aug as it is quite hot.
