Looking for similar location in RM...

FI and I keep going back and forth between resorts, the Royal/Gran Porto, and Barcelo Maya Palace. However, we're pretty much back to the beginning and are now also looking at Key West if my father doesn't budge on not coming to Mexico for my wedding.

 

Anywho I was checking some of the popular locations on the forum and I fell in love with Las Caletas in PV. However, I'm not really wanting to leave the RM, as we chose it for some specific reasons. Does anyone know of a venue that is similar to Las Caletas in the Riviera Maya?

I'm not familiar with Las Caletas but maybe if you list some of your "must haves" it might be an easier way to go. Like, what's most important to you and then that might narrow resorts/locations down.

I have not heard of anything similar to Las Caletas in the Riviera Maya... however Xcaret actually has a really awesome reception package and it reminds me slightly of Las Caletas.

Did you ever find anything similar to Las Caletas in RM? We went to a wedding in Las Calentas in February, and it was BEAUTIFUL. I think we are in a similar boat as you were, in that we are looking for something similar in RM.  Any suggestions on what you found/did would be great!
