Hi Everyone,

 

My name is Jen. My FI and I got engaged 3 weeks ago and I'm super excited to start planning our wedding. His family is from Michigan & mine is from eastern PA and we live between both families just outside of Pittsurgh, PA. Most of our extended family is scattered across the country.

 

Due to this, we feel that a DW might be our best option seeing as how most of our guests will have to travel to our wedding regardless or where we have it. We have not yet set or location but I am looking forward to sharing in planning, and excited to hear all the advice you lovely ladies have!

My best advice as you start down the road to your wedding day would be just to take your time and do lots of research before you book or buy anything (attire, flowers, you name it!) and make sure it's all that you've envisioned for your BIG DAY!

 

And that's where this phenomenal site comes in: BDW has proven to be invaluable in my planning, and it's comforting to know that there are other brides and grooms out there experiencing the same highs and lows during their planning process -- a friend is always just on the other side of your computer screen!
