This is such a great idea. I love the idea of preserving our feelings during this exciting time forever in writing. We are definitely going to do this as a couple, but probably at home prior to leaving rather than during the ceremony itself.

I also love this idea! It sounds so romantic. I'm not a wine drinker at all, but I like the idea of a time capsule. Maybe we'll put our own mix of things in the box, like a dvd of the wedding (afterwards) in addition to the letters.

 

I found this keepsake box online that would be great for display. This one actually looks too small but I like the thought of putting a photo on the front of the box:

Hi ladies, Do you know how well the wine will keep over the years if it is not in a cold cellar? We are thinking of doing this idea, but may just use a hard liquor instead?
