In Desperate Search for Photographer!

Hi -

 

I'm getting married in Cancun in April 2010 and so far it has been a stressful mission finding a good photographer. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want photojournalist type photos with AMAZING colors that pop! I really want someone who captures the emotions/fun of the day as well as the beautiful scenery. I want a trash the dress session in the beach also. My SIL used Rudy Arpia for her wedding and we was incredible but I don't want to use the same exact photogrpher they had. I also love Elizabeth Medina but she's unavailable on my day.

 

I would really appreciate any advice? I would be willing to fly a good photographer in if necessary.

Have you looked at a bunch of the photographers on this site There are a TON of great ones!

Elizabeth is by far one of my favorites, especially for colors that pop, so that's sad that she's not available.

Otherwise, just cruise around here and check out some of the photographers sites. Most of us have them posted in our signatures and would love to receive a private message from you regarding services.

I feel your pain. I'm still firming up my location, but can already tell that my biggest stressor is going to be finding a great photographer. They have an awesome list in the bridal referrals section of the vendors forum though. I think if you take a look at a couple your new problem will be narrowing it down to one.

He's unavailable Nov. 09-May-10 but if that works into your schedule I'd give him serious consideration. Not only are his colors vivid and his images definitely pop, he's a WPJA award winner 13 times and awesome to hang out with. His package includes photography the entire time he is with you, so it really is econimical if you were going to get a TTD session anyways.

He does have associates that are working while he is gone. They are also great.
