MC Gift?

I am just wondering if anyone is giving their mc a gift? If yes, what is the gift?

Our mc is my best friend so I would like to give her something, any suggestions?

Our MC is a close friend of FI's so he is giving the same thing to him as he is giving his groomsman. Are you having bmaids? If so, why not give her the same as the bmaids?

The person who introduces the wedding party and introduces all the people who will be doing speeches.

My MC is my brother-we are giving him an engraved business card holder (similar to the groomsmen gifts)

yah I was the same way at first too Lisa when my FI suggested it. And his reasoning was that his friend, aka the MC, would be doing as much if not more work than his actual groomsman b/c its not easy to be an MC! So I agree.

 

I dont think MC's are common in the US, usually their dj's just mc the wedding, which i thought was so weird at the weddings I went to down south. A good MC can really make a reception!

Nadine - I agree that the mc makes for a better time, usually the mc is the funniest part, I can't imagine not having one!

Yep, we are having a private reception just like a norma wedding, that is why we are having an mc.
