car rentals in cancun & RM

Recommended Posts

oh I know, I'm going to get cooked! I was actually thinking about starting tanning soon because I have all these weird tan lines right now, I figure the sooner I get rid of them the better!

Renting a car in Mexico is the best and cheapest way to sightsee. The roads are easy to drive in if you go up and down the highway that connects Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum.

We rented a car 2 years ago when we were there from either Dollar or Payless. The rental itself was cheap (less than $20 per day). Insurance is fairly high so we opted to not take it. (Big gamble but it worked out for us).

thanks rosean, yes thats what we're thinking it will be more fun for us and cheaper to site see, and see the places we really want to go. I think we're going to just pick up our rental at dreams cancun the day that we are leaving to go to the other resort for our honeymoon, because we won't really use it the first few days we're there.
