It can seem overwhelming--but this forum is great for a lot of answers and ideas I think you're ahead of the game--picking a date (even if its just the month) and the location (we changed countries so many times!) were probably the hardest, if not the only hard part about all of this so far!!!

My best advice as you start down the road to your wedding day would be just to take your time and do lots of research before you book or buy anything (attire, flowers, you name it!) and make sure it's all that you've envisioned for your BIG DAY!

 

And that's where this phenomenal site comes in: BDW has proven to be invaluable in my planning, and it's comforting to know that there are other brides and grooms out there experiencing the same highs and lows during their planning process -- a friend is always just on the other side of your computer screen!

Congrats! I definitely recommend reading the threads on how to navigate around the forums and to get familiar with abbreviations, etc. it's easy, just takes a day or so to get used to, but once you do you're going to love it and find lots of info., I'm sure. Welcome and good luck!
