Renewal of Vows VS Legal Ceremony

You'd probably have to contact a church there but I don't know how easy this would be to arrange at all, much less in english. The majority of churches in Cuba are Catholic, by a pretty wide margin I believe. I don't know if it's common for Cubans to have religious ceremonies, either.

My fiance and I want to have a legal ceremony here in canada to avoid the costs of getting all of his divorce documents translated into spanish and we are going to "renew our vows" in Cuba. None of our guests will know that it is not the real ceremony and we are going to ask for some papers for us to sign as well. My only concern is what paperwork do we have to bring with us in order to renew our vows? Birth Certificate and Passports and a copy of our marriage licence from Canada?  I couldn't seem to find this information.
