I'm going to San Antonio next weekend. Any sightseeing advice?

Thanks for all your suggestions girls! I'm making a list of places to go, printing out directions of how to get there, and bringing my laptop just in case! lol

 

I don't know yet exactly how much time we're going to have with my brother, and won't know until we get there...depends on his performance over the last couple weeks if he's allowed off base, and how much free time he'll have. So, everything is up in the air until then. I'm glad to have all this info so we'll know where to go. Sounds like the Riverwalk is a definite MUST, and I've gotten alot of great restaurant suggestions! I'll let my dad & SIL know that I've got it all planned out for them...lol

We went on February and April to SA and we got very good deals on hotels through ww.hotwire.com, you don't know the name of the hotel before reservation but for us worked. We found a very good offer of $65USD/night from a regular rate of $160!!! so it was a very good deal!!

 

Have fun... I don't recall somebody mentioning the Shops at La Cantera , which is a very nice shopping center 1 mile away from Six Flags/Fiesta Texas
