6 pm ceremony

Recommended Posts

I am having mine at 6:00pm as well so as to catch the sunset for pictures. We are having orerves(sp?) and cocktails for the guests while we take more wedding party pictures. Then we are all heading back to the RIU Santa Fe for the dinner and reception. I think people will plan their day around whatever you want and it will make for some awesome photo opportunities. The guests have plenty of other days to eat when they want to eat! :-) I think people tend to let loose a little more during evening receptions anyway.

I am having my ceremony at 6pm as well, from the advice of someone on this forum. I was speaking to a bride who got married in Cabo, and she said the only thing she would have changed was her ceremony time. She got married at 4pm and she said it was just too hot. So we chose 6pm for the comfort of our guests.

um I think 6 might be too late for a ceremony. It will take you a few hrs for pics. If you start dinner at 8pm, you won't be done until well after 9, and then that gives you about 1 hour for dancing. Music has to be turned off by 10:30pm at Dreams. I would suggest having the ceremony at 4.
