Hi Everyone!

 

My name is Danielle. My fiance, Matt and I just decided over the past weekend to have a destination wedding. We were already a few months into planning a regular at-home wedding, and decided it would be much easier and more affordable to go somewhere. So we are thinking next May or June in the Riviera Maya, but don't have any solid plans yet. Just when we were starting to get somewhere, I have to start all over again. Looking forward to getting ideas and sharing mine as well.

Oh but it will be fun! I'm doing the DW for the same reasons as you...more affordable in a sense. I'm also finding it being a little less stressful because somethings are just out of your hands. You'll love this site! Take care!

I'm also getting married in May in Riviera Maya! you'll find this site invaluable.

 

Just a tip - do your research before deciding on a hotel. they all offer different packages for different prices - look for the ones that are cheaper AND offer more!
