Traveling with the Sand Ceremony glasses

No, our sand did not stay in place. sad.gif

 

I think if you really really want a sand ceremony, then you should do it, and just bring the mixed up sand jar back like we did. But if you can forgo it, then that might be a good idea. We got a glass sand ceremony kit - this one from Beau Coup Personalized Heart Shaped Unity Sand Ceremony Set. It's pretty, but it has a glass jar, and 3 glass vases for the sand. It added to our luggage because we had to keep it packaged in its box with the styrofoam. We did the sand ceremony and the wedding coordinator sent the items back to our room later. Even with tissue stuffed into the top of the jar to hold the sand in place, it moved around and got all mixed up because we packed it with our checked baggage. Maybe if you took it as a carry on it would fare better. Hope that helps!
