Getting married in Panama!

How was the wedding? Any tips for others wanting to get married in Panama. Are there any pictures of the location that you would be willing to share? Thanks !!!

Does anyone happen to know all of the requirements? Especially for a catholic ceremony in Panama?  I'm totally confused on the process!

Any follow-up from brides getting married in Panama?  We're planning a low-key wedding there in early November, and I'm a bit worried about only giving the guests (although it's a short guest list) just six months to get ready.  We're looking at the Bristol, but it's expensive.  How did the Decameron work out?  I worried it was too resorty-- we don't want to battle college kids partying till three am on the beach.  I'd love to hear thoughts from you all!

we went to the Decameron in Jan and barely saw any "younger" crowds.  There were some families, groups but it wasn't a rowdy college/student type resort.

It is large, but because of all the greenery it didn't have that large resort feel.  There were so many different pools and areas to hang out, all surrounded by tree's and such you could feel as if you were at a diff resort every day! lol

I just got married in Panama (my fiance is from there) and would be happy to share my experiences! We did everything at the Bristol Buenaventura, but have stayed at Decameron and Playa Blanca before as well. We had a big wedding (200 people), and had to navigate doing the Catholic ceremony outside, coordinating vendors, etc... so I know how frustrating it can be. That said - it's beautiful!

Looking for some advice, and information about Panama weddings.

My Fiancé and I are heading to Panama in a week, to visit with some of his family (who live on the Decameron resort) We were considering a panama wedding, but I'm reading a lot on having to get lots of medicals/ blood work etc... could someone explain there process with me? and overall experience

Looking at getting married at either the Decameron or the Sheraton Bijao Beach (Breezes) and was wondering if anyone can send me any pictures of their weddings that took place there.  I've heard that both sites have different area's for the ceremony but I can't seem to find any pictures of them.  Also, looking for any information that you can give me regarding the actual experience.
