"So You Think You Can Dance" Fall 2009

So i only watched part of the show last night but great re-cap Erin!

 

I def like Legacy and Katharine! Speaking of Legacy, I was watching CSY NY on demand before the show and it was about under ground street dancing and Legacy was in it! Haha so random but he was totally in it

 

I was personally disappointed with the Bollywood. I feel like the last two seasons the Bollywood dances really set high standards and this time I felt it was just OK

 

It was hard watching Channing and Phillip – so awkward!!

 

To be honest though I'm just not wowed this season…

Russell - LOVE LOVE LOVE this guy. If he goes home I may stop watching!!!

Karen - I agree S-E-X-Y. Exactly how a latin ballroom dancer should be!

Kathryn - Just awesome all around!

 

I really hated Ashleigh the first episode. I'm glad she's acting more humble. Also it's good to hear Molly is growing up because she's was getting a bit annoying.

I felt the same way about the bollywood one. m But Katie and ummmmm, I can't think of his name! Did it so great, they probably made it hard for future dancers. And Kaitlyn and her partner too.

Cory - you're right. Channing is not a big girl, power house is the adjective I was looking for. I just meant that she couldn't be thrown around, at least by someone Phillip's size.

 

Yael, I'm a little underwhelmed myself, especially after the big hoopla during auditions that Season 6 would blow Season 5 out of the water. Seasons 4 & 5 are my favorite!

Season 4 is still my fave! I actually really liked season 3 too

Season 3 & 4 were my fave but after a rough start, season 5 turned out pretty decent too...except for that mess with Evan lol.

You girls watch tonight? Nigel reallly pissed me off. What an ass. He totally attacked that poor young one (I dont know anyone's names yet) and then told the audience to "shut up" several times. I know he always does that, but he was much more dickish tonight doing it. Anyways, I thought he pretty much ripped on the fan base of the show- and it being teeny boppers and not knowing good dance, etc.

 

Umm- you are the one that decided to let America vote. Your problem.

 

Then he attacks the poor young kid. I don't think he was disrespectful last night saying "I was hot!" I thought he got his ass reamed by the judges so he was just trying to joke and make light of the situation. It's gotta be hard to take that criticism in front of millions.

 

Anyone else upset by Nigel? Even DH was shocked by how he acted.

Yes, Rach, I totally agree. And they say all the time how it's not "america's BEST dancer", it's "america's FAVORITE dancer". That's what happens when you let people vote.

 

But I agree, I don't think he was being arrogant, I think he was trying to make a joke. Nigel just earned him more votes actually.

I've been a bad fan and haven't watched any of this season.... my dvr is just sitting there taunting me with the episodes, but for some reason I can't get into it I think it is because it was too close to last season. Oh well.

 

On a way more awesome note ~ I'm going to see the season 5 tour tomorrow and I am pretty stoked!!!! Although it will probably be me, my gf and a bunch of tweens

Ya im kinda over this season - i even stopped DVRing it - i just dont love any of the contestants. Ill prob lurk this thread to keep up on who gets kicked out
